Ischia Classica Festival – Note sul mare 2024

Here is the program of the 15th edition

“Ischia Classica Festival – Note sul mare 2024” is approaching, an unmissable musical event that will enliven the evocative setting of the Green Island for two months.
The concerts, shows and events will take place in the park and in the rooms of the Archaeological Museum of Pithecusa in Lacco Ameno and on the terrace of the Hotel Terme Providence which overlooks the Bay of Citara in Forio.

We are already at the 15th edition. It seems like yesterday that I started this exciting adventure with Federica Monti and Fabio Bianco, the artistic directors of the Classica Festival" at the Hotel Providence!

The Classica Festival has grown in recent years, always maintaining high attention towards young talents and promoting and spreading musical culture to new generations but
also setting itself the objective of enhancing places of beauty and history of the island with classical music.

The hotel's panoramic terraces will become the perfect stage to welcome classical music enthusiasts, thanks to the precious contribution of the "Note sul Mare" Musical Association

The artistic direction entrusted to Maestros Federica Monti and Fabio Bianco guarantees an exceptional program of chamber music, international soloists, competitions and special performances.

Here are the main events of the Official Program of "Ischia Classica Festival" which will be held at the Hotel Terme Providence in Forio:

Monday 8 July: Concert by the overall winner of the 11th Ischia International Piano Competition

Friday 12 July: Chamber Music Masterclass with M° Valeria Lambiase, teacher at the “San Pietro a Majella” Conservatory of Naples.

Thursday 18 July: Piano concert by Maestro Marco Ciampi, teacher at the Avellino Conservatory of Music

Thursday 25 July: Concert by the duo Matteo Ferraro and Dora Bakiu (cello and piano).
